My child is 18, are they covered on my policy?

No. Unfortunately not.

To be covered for free, under your policy, kids must be under the age of 18 - so that is a maximum of 17 - at the time of the trip starting. You'll need to purchase a separate policy for your child or add them as an additional adult to your existing policy.
